Two recommendation engines
Stats mode with matchup and synergy win rates, or attribute mode that looks at what your team lacks: frontline, crowd control, area damage…
How attribute mode decidesFree · Windows & macOS
Picks, counters, bans, builds, runes and jungle paths while you pick your champion, to climb in SoloQ and Flex. Your pool, the tier list and your match history in one hub. Built only on Riot's official APIs.
Autopilot
Pick your champions per lane once in My Pool. From then on, HeroCoach tells your team, bans, hovers and locks your pick and gets your runes ready even if you're away from your PC. When you're back, the game is about to start.
You're in charge: if you pick something else, HeroCoach steps aside. Each automation can be turned on separately.
Live
HeroCoach detects on its own where you are —queue, bans, picks, game— and shows you what you need right then.
In queue
While you queue you see your pre-pick and pre-ban per lane, your form over the last 10 games and the strongest champions of the patch for your role.
Champion select
It suggests who to ban to protect your pool and ranks your lane's champions based on the allies and enemies already picked: score, win rate, sample size and why it fits. Your pool is highlighted and it can pre-pick for you.
Post-pick
Most played and best win-rate runes, spells, starting items, boots, core, skill order and the jungle path per side. Send runes and spells to the client with "Apply".
In game
CS/min against the median and top 25% of your elo, your lane opponent, your stats and the enemy team's spells. With a lightweight overlay and per-champion tips.
Post-game
When it ends, your result with a grade, KDA, damage, gold and vision compared with your last-10 average, the key moments, how you fought and the scoreboard of all 10 players.
Hub
Set up your pool, simulate drafts, check the meta and review your games without opening ten tabs.
Set a pre-pick and pre-ban for each lane. If your first choice gets banned or picked, it moves to the next one. Turn on banning your main's counter, forced lock or auto-sending runes.
Build both teams outside of a game —or import one from your history— and see which pick suits you against each composition, with the same engine you use live.
Tier, win, pick and ban rate for every champion in SoloQ or Flex, who is climbing and their worst matchups. Open one to see its build, runes and counters.
Your latest ranked games grouped by day with KDA, CS/min, damage and both team comps; your form, your streak and your most played champions. Open the replay in one click.
Features
Stats mode with matchup and synergy win rates, or attribute mode that looks at what your team lacks: frontline, crowd control, area damage…
How attribute mode decidesHover your champion and ban your main's counter hands-free. Always under your control.
When it ends: your grade, the key moments, how you fought and the scoreboard of all 10 players.
The most played page and the best win-rate one. "Apply" creates the "Hero Coach" page and sets your spells.
The best-performing skill order and the most played camp path starting on red or blue.
CS/min against your elo and your lane opponent, plus a lightweight overlay with per-champion tips.
Attribute mode
Beyond win rates, HeroCoach can read the draft like a high-elo player. Each of the 173 champions has a sheet of more than 40 attributes, rated from its kit and from Emerald+ stats. The engine crosses your allies' and enemies' sheets and tells you which pick completes the composition, and why.
Example
Your team has no frontline and no one to start fights. The enemy has lots of poke and two tanks.
Looks at what each ally brings and rewards the champion that fills the gaps.
Spots the enemy team's strength and looks for the answer.
Works out how your team wants to win and adds the champion that backs it up.
Takes points off what doesn't fit, even if the champion is strong this patch.
Safe & transparent
HeroCoach only consumes the local, official APIs Riot exposes to third-party apps and follows its policies. It doesn't modify the game or provide disallowed advantages.

Windows: run HeroCoach-Setup.exe. If Windows warns you, see below how to continue.
Mac: open the .dmg and drag the app to Applications. If macOS warns you when opening it: System Settings → Privacy & Security → "Open Anyway".
HeroCoach detects the client, champion select and the game automatically.
Pick your champions per lane in Mi Pool and set region and rank in Settings. Go play!
Windows
That's expected: Windows shows it for installers that don't have a paid signing certificate yet, not because something is wrong. It's two clicks and only the first time: after that HeroCoach updates itself.
FAQ
A free desktop app for League of Legends that goes with you from lobby to Nexus: in champion select it suggests picks and counters based on the draft, who to ban, the build, runes, summoner spells, skill order and jungle path; in game it compares your farm with your rank, and afterwards it reviews how you played. Outside of games you get your pool, a 5v5 draft simulator, the tier list and your match history.
Yes. All current features are free and will stay free. An optional premium tier may exist in the future, never with in-game ads.
No. HeroCoach doesn't modify the game, doesn't read its memory, doesn't inject code and never plays for you. It only uses the local, official APIs Riot provides to third-party apps (the same ones other well-known League of Legends stats apps are built on) and follows Riot's third-party application policies.
From public ranked games fetched through the Riot Games API and from stats aggregated by region, patch and rank.
It has two modes. Stats mode ranks your lane's champions by matchup win rate and synergy with your allies. Attribute mode uses a sheet of more than 40 attributes per champion to see what your team is missing (frontline, engage, crowd control, area damage…), what punishes the enemy (anti-heal, tank shredding, peel vs. dive…) and which game plan it fits, and it takes points off redundant picks or ones that are weak against the enemy. Every suggestion shows its reasons.
No. HeroCoach has no sign-up and never asks for credentials: it reads what the League of Legends client itself exposes on your computer and doesn't send your Riot ID to our servers.
Yes. It detects your queue on its own and adjusts the suggestions; the tier list and match history split Solo/Duo and Flex, and it covers all five roles: top, jungle, mid, bottom and support.
Yes. It runs on macOS 10.15 or later, on both Apple Silicon (M1–M4) and Intel Macs: download the .dmg and follow the install steps.
Yes. Once you lock in, it shows the most played rune page and the best win-rate one; "Apply" creates the "Hero Coach" page in the client and sets your summoner spells, with no manual copying.
Yes. It covers what you usually look for in those apps during champion select (counters, builds, runes and jungle paths) and also recommends picks based on what your team is missing. It's free, has no in-game ads and is available in English and Spanish.
HeroCoach was built together with players who stayed in Challenger for several seasons in a row. They tested the app in their own games and told us what worked for them and what was missing until we reached this version.
